For the second time this season, Puerto Rico and Rochester battled to a scoreless draw in what turned out to be a heated affair Friday... The Portland Timbers won a late 2-1 thriller against the Aztex in Austin Saturday night to create a three-way tie for first in USL-1. The late win, which spoiled a 90th minute Austin equalizer, pushed the Timbers unbeaten streak to 14 matches. Meanwhile, the Charleston Battery suffered their first defeat at home, falling 1-0 to the Carolina RailHawks, who sit three points back in fourth. Last place Minnesota Thunder picked up their second win to move out of the cellar, stunning the visiting Montreal Impact 3-0... The co-league leading Puerto Rico Islanders were only able to earn a draw in Cleveland as the City Stars played the visitors to a scoreless draw Sunday. In Miami, the Blues jumped over Vancouver with a 2-1 win over the Whitecaps.
